Job Description: We have multiple openings for Gardener III/Spray Technician . You will be involved in all aspects of interior and exterior pest control and landscape maintenance services across LLNL's sites. Work assignments will vary based on operational needs, seasonality, and weather, and may include periods of frequent pesticide/herbicide application as well as periods focused primarily on general landscape maintenance and installation. This position is in the Facilities Services Division of the Infrastructure Engineering and Operations Department and may require work at Site 300 located in Tracy, California. This position requires full-time on-site presence due to the nature of the work. You will Perform all aspects of pest control across the Laboratory and facility spaces including the application of herbicides and pesticides, and the monitoring, identification, treatment, and prevention of pests. Practice industry guidelines; prepare equipment and mix chemicals using the appropriate treatment and equipment method in compliance with all pesticide rules and regulations.
