Job Description: We have multiple openings for Electronics Fabrication Technicians . In this role, you will work with scientists and engineers to support manufacturing efforts including electrical/electronic fabrication and packaging; assembly and modification of printed circuit boards, cables and wire harnesses; assembly and disassembly of electronic devices, chassis and systems as well as other specialized equipment used to support ongoing research and projects at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. This position is in the National Security Engineering Division (NSED) within the engineering directorate. This position will be filled at either level based on knowledge and related experience as assessed by the hiring team. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if hired at the higher level. This position requires full-time on-site presence due to the nature of the work.
