Job Description: We have multiple openings for Dimensional Inspectors/Senior Dimensional Inspectors . You will be responsible for various inspection level requirements, related procedures, techniques, and standards (Quality Assurance and ASME Y14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerancing). You will set up and employ an assortment of measuring tools, gauges, and inspection data acquisition equipment. These positions are in the Manufacturing Engineering Section (MES) of the Materials Engineering Division (MED), within the Engineering Directorate. This position requires full-time on-site presence due to the nature of the work. These positions will be filled at either level depending on your qualifications. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if you are selected at the higher level. In this role you will Program, set up, and operate a variety of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs). Set up and utilize a variety of moderately complex measuring tools, gauges, and inspection data acquisition equipment.
