At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA. With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service. Overview Joby Aviation is seeking a highly organized and passionate individual to join our Testing Team as the Senior Test Engineer at our Dayton, Ohio location. This role will be responsible for the execution of equipment and system level testing at 3rd party test houses in the mid-west region to support Joby objectives. Responsibilities Responsible for executing internal and external test campaigns for the assigned system/ sub-system and component by following Joby processes and/or procedures Lead discussion with Integrated Product Team (IPT), Design For Reliability (DFR) or other stakeholders to understand testing needs, milestones & deliverables and manage associated activities using Joby test processes to execute them Create test stand and test equipment requirements to support product and reliability testing, and work with internal and external test sites to ensure test capabilities are adequate to meet Joby testing requirements Commission functional test
