Hand Lay up Support - All Shifts Marina, CA, US Company Overview Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA. With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service. Overview We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Layup Support Technician. This role will manage lamination work cell set up tasks, such as staging prepreg kits, preparing molds, replenishing consumables, maintaining clean work centers / hardware, and complete pre-lamination duties. This role enables composite hand layup technicians to focus exclusively on lamination workmanship, supporting takt time and part quality. Shift Schedules below: 1st shift - Monday - Thursday: 7AM- 5:30PM 2nd shift- Monday - Thursday: 5:30PM - 4:00AM 3rd shift -Friday - Sunday: 6AM - 6:30PM Responsibilities Stage all materials required for next-part build kit, tooling, hardware, and aids (including ports, TCs, pins, consumables, ect). Return empty bins / notify support teams of replenishment demand, if applicable restock point-of-use locations Complete “Pre-Lamination Step” for production runs (kit thawing. Mold identification, laser set up) Check material in / ou
