At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA. With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service. Overview The Staff Project Manager, Facilities Development leads complex capital projects from concept through commissioning across Joby's multi-site portfolio, including R&D, manufacturing, flight test, office, and support facilities. Operating as a senior individual contributor, this role applies deep technical and financial expertise to independently deliver high-value projects while influencing cross-functional and senior stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of complex capital projects, typically $1M-$50M, with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality Drive feasibility, programming, design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and turnover activities Apply expert judgment to resolve complex technical, financial, and schedule challenges with minimal direction Manage project budgets, forecasts, change control, and executive-level reporting Lead selection and management of architects, engineers, contractors, and consultant
