At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA. With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service. Overview We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Composite Tooling Fabricator to join our team. Qualifying skills for the position includes , but is not limited to, Fabricating, detailing and preparing composite tooling master model surfaces for tooling prepreg and resin infusion layup processes.Supporting tooling design of fixture modifications using 3D modeling software. Applicants must be proficient in Hand lay up of dry fiber and prepreg materials and their associated methodologies. Your responsibilities will include building, detailing, sealing and releasing foam master model plugs in preparation for producing composite tooling. Additionally, you will take part in the preparation and assembly of steel and aluminum molds and fixturing. The optimal candidate will possess the ability to learn and apply the methodology of GD&T as it pertains to the metrology process in the utilization of portable CMM equipment in support of the tooling dept inspect
