Sr. Mechanical Engineer Canonsburg, PA, US Position Description At a Glance Legrand is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Starline team. In this role, you will help design and deliver innovative power distribution and monitoring solutions used across a wide range of global markets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to bring ideas from concept through production, while helping guide and support fellow engineers through mentorship and shared problem-solving. What You Will Do Design, develop, and validate mechanical components and systems for customizable power distribution solutions. Apply analytical and systems-based thinking to concept development, design, testing, and refinement. Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to support successful product commercialization. Contribute to customer-specific customizations and ensure designs meet performance, quality, and compliance requirements. Support product testing, system integration, and certification efforts with agencies such as UL and Intertek. Review and provide constructive feedback on designs created by engineers and drafters. Mentor and support other engineers through knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving. Participate in team-based improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, efficiency, and innovation.
