About this role

Senior Facilities Technician Playa Vista, California, United States Turning Space into a Transportation Layer for Earth Who We Are: Eras of humanity can often be defined by a dominant transportation mode - horse drawn chariots, ocean going boats, or aircraft. These were spurred by a small group of people rigorously focused on building technology to achieve faster access to more of the world. We seek to usher in a new era of humanity defined by universal access to the whole globe free of borders and the presence of a routine way from space to Earth. To do this, we are building highly maneuverable re-entry vehicles that can loiter in orbit before precision landing back on Earth. The Sr. Facilities Technician maintains and repairs the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, which may include plumbing, electrical and HVAC. Performs skilled trades work, such as carpentry or painting in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures. Works with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation or repair of building plumbing and wiring required in the production process. Makes periodic or special inspections of the premise to determine repair work necessary. Position Responsibilities - Receives and completes daily facilities work orders which include, but are not limited to: minor electrical/lighting, plumbing, drywall, painting and ceiling tile repairs - Provides support on construction, repair, and maintenance activities such as landscaping, framing, furniture assembly, fabrication, painting, HVAC, plumbing and electrical - Supports all department moves, additions, or changes, including
