Instawork is hiring a Claims Manager who will be responsible for directly overseeing workers' compensation, occupational accident, and liability claims within our broader Trust & Safety and risk management program. This individual will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and managing risk exposure that could result in human, physical, or financial loss. Collaborating closely with Legal, Trust & Safety, and a broader support teams, including external partners, brokers, and insurance representatives, the Claims Manager will implement new programs, enhance existing programs, and provide recommendations to management regarding rules and procedures. Location: Ideally SF, but open to remote (U.S.-based). Must be available, as needed, to share deliverables and discuss projects during Pacific Time business hours. The full-time role, if offered, is based in San Francisco, CA (in-office). Engagement: Contract, approximately 30-40 hours/week, up to 6 months. Potential conversion to full-time employment.
