About this role

Rehabilitation Aide - Lymphedema Denver, Colorado; Aurora, Colorado; Lakewood, Colorado; Thornton, Colorado Under the oversight of the Therapy Supervisor or Lymphedema Team Leads and under the direction of the Lymphedema Team, the Lymphedema Rehabilitation Aide is responsible for assisting with participant treatments, daily maintenance of the Lymphedema treatment areas, home visits to assist the treating therapists and ordering and maintaining supplies and equipment. Participant Care - 50% Transports and prepares participant for treatment, in addition to providing other support services. Assists therapists with maintenance treatments. Carries out passive treatments for participants under the supervision of the lymphedema therapists. Delivers and retrieves lymphedema equipment and supplies as needed from clinics and participant homes. Administration - 50% Maintains spreadsheets utilized by the lymphedema department as directed. Orders and tracks participant specific general lymphedema department supplies. Prepares and cleans treatment area by maintaining and implementing equipment systems and performing light housekeeping duties. Reports any unsafe condition of equipment to appropriate staff for repair. Maintains adequate stock levels of supplies and reports when inventory levels are in need of replacing. Performs clerical duties such as filing, photocopying/faxing, phone reception and recording of departmental statistics. Other duties as assigned by Therapy Supervisor and/or Lymphedema team. REQUIRED High School diploma or GED required. Requires personal transportation, state issued driver's license, good driving record and auto insurance as required by law A minimum of one year experience working with the frail or elderly is required. PREFERRED Experience and/or training in rehabilitation techniques either through on the job
