Designed to advance equitable climate action, SoCal EBD focuses on reducing building carbon emissions while increasing access to clean energy solutions for underserved communities. With its community-centered approach and innovative delivery model, the program sets a new standard for public-purpose energy initiatives in the region. The Construction Project Manager (CPM) plays a pivotal role in overseeing residential retrofit projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and effective project delivery. The CPM is a local, culturally sensitive professional with experience in retrofits, contractor management, and residential code compliance. Their responsibilities include coordinating and constructively challenging contractors, maintaining honesty and a positive reputation, communicating clearly and responsively, and supporting program participation efforts. The success of residential retrofit projects hinges on effective project management, clear communication, and strong contractor oversight.
