About this role

Senior Consultant - Environment London (GB80) We are looking for Senior Consultants to join our growing UK environmental policy team, working for clients including Defra, Natural England, the Office of Environmental Protection and other public bodies. The role is positioned in an ICF team dedicated to provision of policy-relevant research, analytical and evaluation services to the UK public sector. You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of critical environment policy research spanning: Environmental governance Biodiversity and natural capital Protected areas and conservation Agriculture, fisheries and food systems Marine and fresh water Climate and pollution We provide robust evidence and strategic support to policy-makers and regulators, using the latest research and evaluation methodologies, advanced data science and behavioural insights. Your main responsibilities will be to: Undertake research and evaluation on environmental policy issues Lead and coordinate research project teams Lead and contribute to the development of proposals, including building teams, developing methodologies and budgets Build relationships with clients and the team's external networks and partnerships Successful candidates will have the following skills and experience: Demonstrable interest and experience in environmental policy, especially in relation to water policy in the UK (e.g. water resources, floods, water quality) Strong qualitative, quantitative and analytical skills Skills in evaluation, economic analysis and appraisal,
