Panel Integration Technician Iron Mountain, MI Job Overview The Panel Integration Technician is responsible for the installation and integration of electrical components within control panels, switchgear, sub-panels, and other equipment enclosures. This role involves mechanical and electrical tasks to ensure proper assembly, functionality, and safety of electrical systems. A Day In The Life Component Installation: Install pushbuttons, pilot and control devices, instruments, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, transformers, and similar components. Install bus bars in panels and switchgear, including: Insulating tubing, boots, and sleeving Tape or roll-applied insulation Insulators and supports Mechanical Adjustments: Perform bolting and securing of components. Make necessary corrections for minor fabrication errors, including: Redrilling Tapping Filing Cutting Electrical Tasks: Perform panel installation and bonding. Prepare, run, and terminate conductors. Install cable tray systems. Mount and/or wire: Lights Strut Tray AC/DC distribution panels Battery chargers Switches Conduit General Duties: Complete any other electrical tasks related to equipment enclosures. Perform touch-up painting as required. What will help you thrive in this role?
