Machine Operator B - Inj Mold - 2nd shift Broken Arrow, OK Job Overview Operates a multiple of production machines such as saws, presses, drills, and other hand and/or powered equipment, as well as automatic presses and similar equipment which may require raw material to be loaded onto stock reels. A Day In The Life Performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot & perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. Inspect parts to specifications & adjust, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications. Sets up & operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures & guidelines. Read & interpret blueprints & diagrams to select, position & secure machinery. Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications & in a timely manner. Make suggestions to supervisors for improvements associated with assigned work. Maintain a clean & orderly work area per Hubbell's 6S policy. Follow instructions, both written & verbal, from the lead person & production supervisors. Operate all equipment in a safe & efficient manner. Inspect own work for conformity to standards. Assist in other areas as necessary. What will help you thrive in this role? Basic reading & writing. Two (2) years' experience in manufacturing. Must be able to use precision measuring devices.
