Material Handler B - 1st shift Broken Arrow, OK Job Overview Under limited supervision, material handling duties include counting, staging, and moving materials throughout the facility. Responsible for accurate inventory transactions, work order pulling, and safe operation of forklifts and other equipment. This role requires moderate proficiency in all core tasks without the need for direct oversight. This position is a broad-based title encompassing multiple departments within the manufacturing facility. A Day In The Life Moves materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas using material handling equipment (MHE) such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, carts, forklifts (sit-down and double reach), Work Assist Vehicle (WAV). Loads and unloads incoming and outgoing shipments, stages materials for inspection and storage. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on bill of materials and staging to appropriate work cell area. Maintains in-process inventory at work centers and documents material movements. Receives and processes return materials from production. Ensures proper palletizing and racking of materials. Completes equipment inspections and maintain cleanliness of work areas. Adheres to all safety policies and procedures. Works independently and is accountable for resolving material handling errors in real time, with guidance from Material Handler A, Leads, and Supervisors as needed.
