Assembler- 1st Shift Rocky Mount, NC Job Overview The Assembler is responsible for assembling or fabricating mechanical parts, pieces, or products using various tools and equipment according to required specifications. This role involves performing repetitive tasks at workstations or on assembly lines to mass-produce high-quality enclosures. A Day In The Life Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, manufacturing drawings, and other technical documents to accurately assemble products. Use handheld tools such as screwdrivers and drill guns to assemble components. Maintain inventory levels at the workstation to ensure smooth operations. Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet stringent quality standards. Identify any product defects and report these to the Team Lead or Supervisor. Rework or repair assembled products as per engineering specifications or customer requests. Adhere to all quality standards and safety procedures during assembly processes. Complete daily tasks as assigned by the functional area and Supervisor. What will help you thrive in this role? Regularly lift up to 35 pounds. Proficient in reading and interpreting measurement devices. Experienced in using powered industrial tools. Previous manufacturing assembly experience is advantageous.
