Senior Advanced Software Engineer Phoenix, AZ, United States Senior Advanced Software Engineer Phoenix, AZ, United States (Hybrid) Job Description As a Sr Advanced Software Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing advanced software solutions that drive innovation in aerospace technology. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality, reliable software systems that meet stringent aerospace industry standards. In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge aerospace software products that enhance safety, efficiency, and performance in aviation and related fields, contributing to Honeywell's leadership in the aerospace sector. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leading technical development activities, guiding lower-level engineers, collaborating with cross functional teams and driving to objectives of quality, cost and schedule. Managing stakeholders within and outside organization demonstrate ability to identify and propose technical improvements using engineering expertise. Ideating/driving VPD (Velocity Product Development) ideas and RDE (Research Development Engineering) reduction initiatives. Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE At least 10 years' experience in software development/systems/software verification Minimum 5 years' experience in software verification & validation Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics Very good knowledge on C, C++, Python, Embedded programming, Model based Testing. Expertise in using debuggers, simulators
