Production Planner I Eatontown, NJ, United States Production Planner I Eatontown, NJ, United States (On-site) Job Description Production Planner I As a Production Planner I here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in supporting the supply chain planning and execution processes to ensure efficient production scheduling and material planning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to balance supply and demand, contributing to the timely delivery of products and overall operational excellence. You'll work out of our Eatontown, NJ location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of production operations by ensuring accurate planning and coordination of materials and production schedules to meet customer demands and business objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Review sales orders and contract reviews. Create shop orders for shortage review. Create and submit material requisitions for procurement. Monitor material receipts and inventory levels, identifying and resolving kitting/production conflicts. Update schedules and productions teams as needed. Review engineering change orders. Coordinate with line leads and stockroom personnel for the release of updated documentation and process any material changes. Review and analyze expiration dates of consumable product. Coordinate with various departments to understand usage. Issue material requisitions to replenish safety stock and shelf-life demands. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production planning processes. Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE Willingness to learn. 2-4 years experience in material's handling or planning. Experience in materials planning or supply chain within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of material requirements planning and inventory management principles.
