Production Lab Supervisor (IPC) Cambridge, ON, Canada Production Lab Supervisor (IPC) Cambridge, ON, Canada (On-site) Job Description The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are achieved. This role oversees production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a strong focus on optics, electronics assembly, continuous improvement, and customer compliance standards including IPC and/or NASA requirements. You will be reporting to Sr Material Management Manager and you'll work onsite at Cambridge, ON. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical manufacturing knowledge, excellent people leadership skills, and experience driving operational excellence through Lean manufacturing and 5S principles. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Production & Operations • Supervise daily production activities to meet schedule attainment and customer delivery requirements • Monitor throughput, labor utilization, efficiency, and productivity metrics • Coordinate staffing and workflow to support changing production demands • Support build planning, line balancing, and capacity alignment • Drive plan vs. actual performance tracking and corrective actions • Ensure adherence to quality standards and manufacturing procedures Leadership & Team Management • Lead, coach, and develop production employees and team leads • Identify and train the Supervisor Successor of 'tomorrow' • Conduct performance reviews, training, and employee development plans • Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture • Support conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives • Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety standards Quality & Technical Oversight • Support production of electronic and/or optical assemblies • Ensure compliance
