Role Overview We are hiring a Senior Counsel to support the company during a period of hypergrowth. This role will operate as a broad legal and business partner across the organization. This is a highly cross-functional role spanning commercial, product, employment, operational, privacy, compliance, and strategic legal matters. The ideal candidate is business-minded, highly adaptable, execution-oriented, and excited to help build legal infrastructure from the ground up in a fast-moving AI company. This role is hybrid and based in the San Francisco Bay Area (preferred) or Los Angeles. Key Responsibilities - Serve as a trusted legal partner across Product, GTM, Operations, HR, Finance, and leadership teams. - Support a broad range of commercial matters, including customer agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and operational legal requests. - Provide practical legal guidance related to product, privacy, AI, intellectual property, marketing, employment, and regulatory matters. - Help build scalable legal processes, templates, workflows, and internal policies to support rapid company growth. - Partner cross-functionally to identify legal and operational risks and provide business-friendly solutions. - Assist with corporate governance, compliance initiatives, and other strategic company projects as needed. - Stay current on legal and regulatory developments relevant to AI and technology companies. - Contribute
