Role Overview We are hiring an Associate General Counsel to serve during a period of hypergrowth. This role reports directly to the General Counsel. It is an opportunity to shape and scale an emerging Legal function that also serves as a business thought partner and guide. A successful candidate will be a high-energy problem-solver who consistently drives results. This role is hybrid and based in the San Francisco Bay Area (preferred). Key Responsibilities - Partner cross-functionally with teams across the company to provide practical legal and strategic guidance on a broad range of corporate, commercial, operational, product, regulatory, employment, and risk-related matters. - Help build and scale legal and operational infrastructure to support a fast-growing global business in an efficient and pragmatic way. - Support the development and management of company compliance, governance, and risk-management processes across multiple functions and jurisdictions. - Advise leadership on evolving legal, regulatory, and business risks relevant to high-growth technology and AI companies. - Work closely with internal stakeholders to balance business objectives with thoughtful risk assessment and scalable decision-making. - Contribute to high-priority company initiatives outside of your immediate subject-matter expertise and operate as a versatile business partner across the
