About this role

Sr Data Engineer (MFT - IBM Sterling) Atlanta, GA, United States A Day in the Life: The IBM Sterling Senior MFT Engineer will have expertise in Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, Control Center. This position requires an expert level knowledge of these technologies. You'll provide third-level support for core hardware, software, data and infrastructure components within the B2B integration team. The software focus areas will include software infrastructure components, continuous improvement and automation related to middleware and enterprise data movement within a mission-critical, multi-site enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology; possess the ability to create change and be the facilitator for this transformation. They will have experience tailoring software design, developing, and implementing of solutions in support of data quality and automation. They will need to understand the requirements of a project, test the performance of the infrastructure, and verify that the requirements have been successfully met. We expect the starting salary to be around $120k but will be commensurate with experience. What You'll Do: TECHNICAL SENIORSHIP Communication with internal and external business users on Sterling Integrator mappings Making changes to existing partner integrations to meet internal and external requirements Design, develop and implement solutions based on standards and processes that establish consistency across the enterprise data, reduce risks, and promote efficiencies in support of the organizational goals and objectives.
