We aim to debottleneck the growth of electricity generation and consumption with scalable, innovative, and less costly hardware solutions, accelerating the electrification of everything. Our first goal is to build better converters (inverters & rectifiers) to connect large-scale renewables, storage, and loads to the grid. Job Overview Heron Power is transforming the infrastructure that powers our grid by developing industrial power electronics purpose-built for the 21st-century grid. The energy demand crisis is here and we're building the answer. Heron was founded in 2024 by Drew Baglino, the former Tesla executive who led the engineering behind the Model S drivetrain, the Model 3's silicon carbide bet, and the buildout of the Tesla Energy Megapack.
