Position Overview: The Sander is responsible for smoothing and finishing surfaces of materials, typically metal or wood, to prepare them for further processing or final use. This role involves operating a variety of sanding tools and equipment to ensure the desired finish and quality of products. The Sander works closely with other production team members to ensure consistency, efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Operate sanding equipment (e.g., belt sanders, disc sanders) to smooth surfaces of products. Inspect materials for defects or imperfections before and after sanding to ensure quality standards are met.
