Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control, and energy solutions at our company-owned facilities. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China. Located in our Clemmons, NC facility and reporting to the R&D Lab Leadership, the Test Lab Engineer works globally and cross-functionally to design, develop, and test new products, improve existing products, and evaluate competitor's products. The Test Lab Engineer carries out test plans on swimming pool related equipment for conformity with both internal and industry standards. Applies Engineering principles and technical skills to design, build, install, and implement systems to support testing needs. Works directly with Engineering & Technical staff, modifies & assembles products, sets-up and conducts tests and analyzes and documents results.
