Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control and energy solutions at our company owned facilities. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China. This position is based in Clemmons, NC. Position Overview: This is the entry-level classification in the Maintenance Mechanic series. Employees in this classification receive on-the-job training experience in the maintenance of blow molding/injection molding machines along with its ancillary equipment. The Facilities Maintenance Tech will also be responsible for general building maintenance tasks as indicated below. Responsibilities Understands and fully complies with all safety policies and procedures Safely uses all power tools and other hand tools in support of troubleshooting and repair functions Demonstrates ability to safely operate forklift, scissor lift, and articulating lift Works cross-functionally with other maintenance personnel and departments to support production needs Executes basic preventive maintenance and repair work
