Plans, directs, and coordinates, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction of the project to ensure it is completed on time and on budget. Per diem and Housing included. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Manages the distribution of crews and equipment between multiple projects ensuring efficient resource utilization Oversees construction activities for assigned projects/region; ensuring work is completed safely, within schedule and budget, in a manner consistent with Company policies and procedures Plans, coordinates, and supervises activities of subordinate supervisory personnel on assigned projects Reviews job quality to ensure customer specifications are being met and eliminate rework Provides input to project manager for schedule updates, material variances, and changes to scope of work Manages the distribution of crews and equipment between multiple projects ensuring efficient resource utilization Promotes a safe working culture for all employees; works with safety and field personnel to minimize risk and increase safety for employees at all times Ensures pre-job inspections are completed Acts in an ethical manner, portraying a positive Company image and promoting strong customer and employee relations Assures progress reports are turned in on schedule Reviews daily labor, production, equipment reports to be submitted to office Interviews and hires personnel; makes decisions on disciplinary and termination
