About this role
Field Service Specialist Morocco About Us Harmattan AI is a next-generation defense prime building autonomous and scalable defense systems. Following the close of a $200M Series B, valuing the company at $1.4 billion, we are expanding our teams and capabilities to deliver mission-critical systems to allied forces. Our work is guided by clear values: building technologies with real-world impact, pursuing excellence in everything we do, setting ambitious goals, and taking on the hardest technical challenges. We operate in a demanding environment where rigor, ownership, and execution are expected. About the Role As Field Service Specialist, you keep the organisation's deployed technical systems operational in the field. You perform preventive and corrective maintenance, on-site diagnostics, and repairs at customer sites - and support customer operators toward day-to-day autonomy. This is a hands-on, field-based maintenance and sustainment role, distinct from system design or installation: you are a maintainer, focused on equipment uptime and performance. The team includes both first-level maintenance specialists and at least one senior, depot-repair-capable specialist able to handle component and sub-assembly-level repair. We are hiring across this seniority range. Responsibilities - Preventive Maintenance: Carry out scheduled checks and servicing to maintain equipment at peak operational readiness. - Corrective Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose faults and perform repairs on hardware and system components; replace consumables and serviceable parts; return systems to service. - First-Level Diagnostics: Identify and resolve common issues on-site; escalate more complex faults through the defined support path. - Depot-Level Repair (senior profile): Perform deeper component and sub-assembly-level repair
