Sr Actuary Orlando, FL Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America (Hannover Re) is currently seeking talented candidates for our open position. This is a role within the department. You can look forward to Job Summary: A Senior Actuary is a non-rotational position outside of Hannover Re's Actuarial Development Program (“ADP”). The Senior Actuary's primary responsibility is to lead the experience study process for the Life Solutions Traditional Life business. Essential Functions: (60%) Technical Support and Analysis • Lead the technical completion of the traditional mortality experience studies and model validation by writing and running R code utilizing an internal R package. • Implement new statistical methodologies to further analytic abilities and strengthen the assumption review/adjustment process. • Summarize experience results and work with the AVP, Actuary, to improve the model assumptions. • Implement assumption updates to the SQL assumption database and perform impact analysis on the projected financial results. Review results for reasonableness to validate correct implementation.
