Reinsurance Accountant Property and Casualty Business Talanx Group Hannover Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Finance and Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary, full-time basis for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as a. You can look forward to Processing of acceptances and cessions for the obligatory and facultative non-life reinsurance business of Talanx Group companies Preparation of complex retrocession statements Recording, processing and preparation of claims notifications including sanction checks and consultation with claims specialists Correspondence and coordination with internal interfaces and external customers Quarterly closing work, including liquid estimates and reserve determinations within intercompany reconciliation Independent management of current accounts as well as support in cash flow management Participation in working groups and projects focusing on automation and digitalisation in the international reinsurance accounting environment You come equipped with A completed degree in Business Administration and/or a comparable qualification Initial experience in qualified accounting or settlement processing, ideally in (re)insurance Knowledge of various accounting standards, e.g. HGB and IFRS Proficient conversational skills in both English and German, other languages welcome Confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel Affinity for IT topics and willingness to familiarise yourself with various IT technologies
