Group Accountant / Specialist Accounting Policies Hannover Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Finance and Accounting department at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a. The Accounting Policies & Reporting team within the central Group Finance function is responsible for quarterly and annual IFRS reporting. Further key responsibilities include the analysis of quarterly and annual figures for the Executive Board and the Talanx Group, as well as the coordination and consolidation of planning, forecasting, and estimation processes. You can look forward to Managing and further developing the notes section of the Group Annual Report Taking technical ownership of accounting policy topics under HGB, IFRS, and ideally Solvency II Monitoring, analysing, and communicating regulatory and accounting developments across the Group Providing technical support for external audits (e.g. BaFin) and ensuring the implementation of audit findings and recommendations Representing the Hannover Re Group in international accounting committees and supporting the CFO in committee work Contributing to - and potentially leading - accounting-related projects Designing and delivering trainings, seminars, and presentations Subject to performance and development, this role offers a medium-term perspective to move into a leadership position You come equipped with A degree in business administration or economics, ideally with a focus on auditing, taxati
