Senior Government Contracts Specialist Savannah, GA in Unique Skills: Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related curriculum or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 4 years Contracts administration or related experience. Advanced degree in related field may offset one year of experience requirement. Position Purpose: Individual contributor role in the Government Contracts team. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Contracts management/administration for Gulfstream's government business. Provide guidance to others to ensure compliance in the proposal, negotiation, administration and other contract related activities. Analyze material estimates, other direct costs, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness for inclusion into proposals. Prepare proposals per specific terms/requirements of requests. Build customer relationships and knows customer needs and issues. Negotiate proposals within business goals, documenting substance of discussions, agreements and results. Analyze significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, Gulfstream policies and procedures.
