About this role
Occupational Health Nurse I Savannah, GA in Unique Skills: Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Entry Level. Active Nursing License in the state of employment required. Position Purpose: Provide Occupational Health Care Services according to the Gulfstream Medical Program. Coordinate medical services required. for the safety and proper placement of employees, the treatment of work-related illnesses and injuries, and approved industrial preventative medical programs under direction of Corporate Occupational Health Nurse Leadership. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Build and maintain trusted relationships with employees and management to support organizational health and safety objectives. Promote and facilitate continuity of care through consistent and coordinated medical services. Maintain medical records in professional and confidential manner. Provide superior nursing care in a professional manner using all available resources. Provides timely treatment of work-related injuries. Demonstrate basic knowledge of workers compensation per state of employment. Demonstrate basic knowledge of all regulatory bodies pertaining to state of employment to include but not limited to DOT, FAA, OSHA/CalOSHA. Understanding of regulatory testing programs to include but not limited to hearing, vision, respiratory, alcohol and drug. Administer regulatory testing proficiently. Maintain appropriate inventories of medical and first aid supplies. Administer
