NEBOSH Certificate. Ability to operate personal computers, experience with Microsoft Windows/Windows NT and Microsoft Offices Products, Word and Excel. Extensive experience in EHS. Extensive knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and Environmental, Health and Safety Legislation. Position Purpose: Provide full time environmental health and safety support to the business and ensure that all practices are in compliance with the Company and UK regulatory requirements. Support the development and coordination of ISO 14001 Environmental and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Responsible for development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health and Safety management systems. Provide daily guidance and direction in EHS programs at the employee / supervisor level to ensure a common and effective approach. Advise line management of health, safety and environmental matters and manage this process to ensure all advice is incorporated into day to day processes and operations.
