About this role

SPORTS ANCHOR/MMJ (W/END) - KYTV/KSPR KYTV - Station The Ozarks Sports Zone team at KY3 in Springfield, MO, is looking for an innovative, motivated, creative, and passionate sports anchor/MMJ. This person is responsible for leading our sports reporting during the week and all our sports coverage on weekends. This person also hosts a weekly 30-minute streaming show. You must be able to tell great stories and do creative live shots and standups to stand out in the crowd of candidates we will receive for this position. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a hyper-local sports department with an emphasis on all high school sports. This is not an entry-level position!! We are looking for someone with at least two years' experience at a television station as a sports MMJ and/or anchor.
