You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Reducing the cycle time of networking services for Google's production network is an important strategy for the Google Global Networking organization. One of the key functions to enable faster deployment is the ability to forecast and pre-position materials. The Material Demand Forecasting team manages a portfolio of programs which advance the organization toward faster delivery of networking services as measured by reducing cycle times, more efficient use of working capital, and improvements in operational efficiency.
