As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. As a Staff Software Developer, Android XR System Apps, you will set technical direction and participate in the design and development of a next-generation UI for Glasses. Working closely with other developers and cross-functional teams, you will design, prototype, build, and launch new user experiences that enable users to interact in new and delightful ways through XR devices. You will set technical direction for multiple apps including device companion apps for connected mobile phones, out-of-box experience, tutorials, settings, and apps related to fit and calibration.
