As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a Program Schedule Lead, you will own the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) by establishing a standardized Work Breakdown Structure and integrating multi-party logic from developers, general contractors, internal stakeholders, OEMs, and utilities. In this role, you will manage day-to-day tactical execution through critical path analysis, quantitative progress tracking, and earned value management to measure physical progress against actual spend. To proactively mitigate risk, you will utilize schedule diagnostics what-if scenario modeling, and formal time impact analyses to manage change orders and protect the project timeline.
