Data Scientists provide quantitative support, market understanding and a strategic perspective to our partners throughout the organization. As a data-loving member of the team, you serve as an analytics expert for your partners, using numbers to help them make better decisions. You will weave stories with meaningful insight from data. You'll make critical recommendations for your fellow Googlers in Engineering and Product Management. You relish tallying up the numbers one minute and communicating your findings to a team leader the next. Our Data Science Team blends research and product expertise to address complex challenges. We leverage a mix of theoretical and practical knowledge in advanced statistical, machine learning techniques, predictive modeling, human eval, experimentation, forecasting, exploratory analysis, and more to drive data-informed innovation, unlock opportunities, and enhance user experiences within Chrome. We do not just analyze data-we pioneer the behavioral insights and experimentation frameworks required to build context-aware AI capabilities and agentic experiences. Our role is to help the browser anticipate user intent, streamline daily tasks, and seamlessly execute complex actions on the web.
