About this role
Data Center Area Security Manager (English) Columbus, OH, USA As Regional Security Manager, Data Center Compliance, Security & Risk Management, you oversee a team responsible for the security management of a geographic region of technical infrastructure locations, and work on ensuring sites are in compliance with all regional governmental and regulatory requirements. You deliver solutions for ambiguous or new problems, by leading teams in exploring the capabilities of existing or developing new systems and aligning resources to see the solution through to completion. You influence and lead cross-organizational collaborations while directing the integration of multiple work streams on teams. You act as a trusted authority on strategic matters and provide domain expertise for a critical part of Google's security infrastructure. As a Data Center Area Security Manager, you drive the outcomes of key data center infrastructure through technical contributions. You will use your knowledge of data center security designs, operations, and local laws to develop and lead programs that align with regional or global strategy in order to gain site efficiency. You will partner with external industry leaders and collaborate with upper management and cross-functional teams to discuss project prioritization, and resource allocation. You will also demonstrate the behaviors expected of all Googlers as captured in Google's cultural pillars, and you engage in community contributions to improve and sustain our culture, making Google a better place to work.
