About this role
APAC Controllership Systems Enablement Lead Sydney NSW, Australia The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business. Partner with process leads and Country Controllership teams to design and implement system and AI solutions to address key requirements. Develop in-depth knowledge of tools, systems (including SAP instance) and upstream processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Partner with Corp Engineering to build solutions and ensure that key design needs are able to be built for scale. Represent International Controllership and partner with key finance and business stakeholders, including Entity Accountants and Country Controllers, Tax, Treasury, S2P, RCO, Legal and Financial Planning, to deliver scalable systems, reporting and process improvement solutions. Provide training and guidance to end users on key systems, reports, AI solutions and data warehouses. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 7 years of experience in systems enablement. Experience with SAP, including designing and implementing data and reporting solutions. Preferred qualifications: Professional Accounting Qualification (CPA or CA). Experience in and understanding of International statutory reporting processes and procedures for a multinational.
