Supervisory Auditor Oakland, California Summary As a Supervisory Auditor under the general guidance of the Regional Inspector General for Auditing (RIGA), you will serve as an audit manager, providing expert technical advice and guidance in the performance and completion of audits for the Pacific Rim Region Audit Office (JA-9). Location of position: Office of Audits (JA-9) 1301 Clay Street Oakland, CA 94612 We are currently filling One vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed. Duties The audit manager provides expert technical advice and guidance in the performance and completion of audits. As a Supervisory Auditor, you will perform the following duties: The audit manager provides expert technical advice and guidance in the performance and completion of audits of GSA's programs, operations, and/or contracts. Leads audit teams in identifying and assessing audit risks and developing actions to address the risks, as well as follow up on leads of fraud, waste, and abuse when identified. Coordinates, directs, and evaluates multiple audits and the progress of these projects, adjusting resources when necessary to ensure they meet established milestone dates. Ensures draft and final written audit products are clear, concise, technically correct, and effectively deliver the intended audit message, while conforming to all relevant policies. As a supervisor, the audit manager resolves issues when they exist, recognizes superior performance when achieved, and identifies developmental and on-the-job training needs.
