Operations Supervisor - Structural (2nd shift) Jacksonville, FL, US Overview The next step in support of the Virginia Class and Columbia Class construction process is executing “Build to EB Paper” in a Strategic Partnership environment at a supplier facility. General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking experienced Operations Supervisors to support second shift operations as part of the Embedded Team located in Jacksonville, Florida. This effort supports Virginia and Columbia Class Deck fabrication activities. This position will supervise and oversee second shift work execution, fabrication means and methods, and embedded supplier personnel operating as part of the EB Strategic Partnership model. The Operations Supervisor will manage Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule, and Continuous Improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with all EB processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for developing and reinforcing strong work practices, maintaining EB culture and standards during second shift operations, supporting process improvements, and ensuring assigned personnel maintain required qualifications and training records within the established training system. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain active second shift deck plate presence and provide direct oversight of production activities supporting Virginia and Columbia Class programs.
