Electrical Test Supervisor - CLB Groton, CT, US Overview The Shipyard Test Organization is seeking a highly motivated candidate for Electrical Test Supervisor for the Columbia Class. The successful candidate should possess effective planning skills with the demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects in a fast paced team environment. Specific responsibilities are but not limited to: Make daily work assignments to support test schedules. Maintain ACTE/CTE's awareness of problems relating to successful completion of scheduled testing. Provide direct supervision of test technicians' activities on the ship. Maintain required paperwork (review paperwork daily for completeness and accuracy). Evaluate the performance of personnel and make recommendations for advancement, training or discipline. Ensure direct report's training is up to date to meet all testing requirements (daily). Ensure all Electric Boat policies and procedures are adhered to. Review and report manpower needs as required, meeting schedules. Must be capable of taking effective disciplinary action in accordance with company policy and procedures and confer with Human Resources concerning employee problems and manner of resolution Complete and maintain 6010, S&EP, and Work Controls Qualifications Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED 4+ years of relevant electrical or shipyard test experience or equivalent US Navy operational experience Preferred: Post High School education Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects in a team environm
