About this role
Technician IV General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems. We have an exciting opportunity for a Radar Technician to join our MPEx team located in Poway, CA. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conduct depot level repair, integration and testing, modification and operation of complex synthetic aperture radar (SAR) / ground moving target indicator (GMTI) and other airborne sensors. - Operate specialized test equipment in the performance of troubleshooting and maintaining sensors, both in the laboratory and in the field. - Performs and/or assists in fabrication, modification, assembly, installation, operation, repair and maintenance of complex laboratory, experimental and commercial equipment. - May assist in the design of basic lab, experimental, and commercial equipment. - Applies specialized knowledge and skills pertinent to the organization, project or program assigned. - Will utilize SAP processes to track defective components.
