About this role
Project Manager III General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) designs and manufactures first-of-a-kind electromagnetic and electric power generation systems. GA-EMS' expanding portfolio of specialized products and integrated system solutions support critical fleet, space systems and satellites, missile defense, power and energy, and process and monitoring applications for defense, industrial, and commercial customers worldwide. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Facility & Infrastructure Project Planner to join our team in Centennial, CO. As a Project Planner, you will serve as the primary point of contact for new and emerging projects of various sizes, budgets, and complexity. Projects may consist of simple space office/lab upgrades, A/V or network upgrades, furniture installation, to more complex, multi-million tenant improvements/new facility integrations. This role will take new project requests from intake through to full project completion by partnering with stakeholders to develop requirements, create budgets and schedules, and establish resource plans. Projects will be located throughout the continental U.S., requiring 25-50% travel. The ideal candidate has successfully participated as an owner's representative, by leading functional organizations (security, ITS, Facilities, HR), business leaders and contractors throughout the United States. Communication is the key to your success, as is the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
