About this role
Integration Technician III General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Integration Technician currently working in our Aeronautical Systems to support deployments and production at our Palmdale, CA facility. This position supports CONUS and OCONUS deployments but is not a Flex position. In this position you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of complex structural, composite, mechanical and/or electrical operations to ensure appropriate aircraft systems are installed, modified, repaired, tested and operational. The position performs complex system modifications due to technical updates, and/or customer requests, which require disassembly, modification, reassembly, and testing of structural, composite, mechanical and/or electrical system. The position may also perform structural, composite, avionic, and electrical repairs. May provide direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Following technical documentation monitors, tests and verifies quality, completes required documentation, and when necessary troubleshoots and resolves issues. Keeps up to date on regulatory requirements, and participates in program development, with engineering and management, by identifying solutions and recommending updates to technical procedures that improve integration processes, quality, and record maintenance. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Installs, modifies and tests aircraft structural, composite, avionics, and/or electrical systems to ensure they are operational and meet required quality standards. - Investigates and analyzes project requirements and operating problems and develops and recommends solutions to meet performance and safety standards. -
