About this role
Industrial Mechanic IV General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) designs and manufactures first-of-a-kind electromagnetic and electric power generation systems. GA-EMS' expanding portfolio of specialized products and integrated system solutions support critical fleet, space systems and satellites, missile defense, power and energy, and process and monitoring applications for defense, industrial, and commercial customers worldwide. We're looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician to support our Electromagnetic Systems (EMS) division in Centennial, CO. In this role, you will help maintain facility equipment, building systems, and infrastructure to keep operations running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and experienced in troubleshooting and repairing commercial or industrial facility systems. This position supports day-to-day maintenance activities, preventive maintenance programs, and general building operations. DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and equipment. - Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems. - Monitor building systems including HVAC controls and Building Automation Systems (BAS). - Replace filters, belts, bearings, sensors, motors, pumps, and other mechanical components. - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, piping, and utility systems including compressed air, gas, water, and sewer lines. - Inspect facility equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues before failures occur. - Calibrate and maintain HVAC controls and temperature sensors. - Respond to maintenance requests and facility emergencies in a timely manner. - Perform general building maintenance including minor repairs, furniture moves, and workspace setup. - Conduct safety inspections
