Engineering Mfg Liaison II General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) designs and manufactures first-of-a-kind electromagnetic and electric power generation systems. GA-EMS' expanding portfolio of specialized products and integrated system solutions support critical fleet, space systems and satellites, missile defense, power and energy, and process and monitoring applications for defense, industrial, and commercial customers worldwide. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Coordinates and expedites materials buy and delivery schedules of raw materials and sub-assemblies. - Monitors progress of manufactured parts required for project. - Coordinates and manages PCB build, electronics inventory for PCBs, and population and delivery of PCBs, - Assists in and/or monitors the design and development process by coordinating between various engineering and manufacturing departments. - Coordinates engineering support for manufacturing requirements and ensures schedule parity. - Maintains project specific prototype inventory control. - Kit project specific material for manufacturing. - Coordinates Manufacturing Service Request activities by resolving priority schedule conflicts. - Reviews open engineering issues affecting sales orders. Alerts planning department to open engineering issues that may affect manufacturing. Alerts engineering departments to sales order activity that may affect outstanding work. - Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information. - Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
